Hello and welcome!

As this is my official website I thought I would tell you a little about myself in my own words. More often than not, when you read a bio online about an actor or any public figure, it is written by someone else and is fraught with errors and half-truths. So with that in mind, allow me to introduce myself…

My name is Michael Chiklis. I was born on August 30, 1963 in the city of Lowell, MA. My family moved to the neighboring town of Andover, MA just in time for me to start 1st grade and I remained there until I graduated from Andover High, eleven years later. My parents tell me that I was around 6 or 7 years old when I announced to the family that I would be an actor when I grew up. Of course my parents assumed that I would want to be a baseball player or a fireman in a week's time but as it turns out, I never changed my mind. It was more of an awareness really. I just knew what I was supposed to be.
