Amanda Carr grew up in the Boston rock and pop scene of the70’s and 80’s, playing keyboards and singing in multiple bands. As the daughter of jazz and big band musicians, she later adopted the jazz genre and her mother’s stage name as a vocalist and began performing and recording to critical acclaim in the mid 1990’s.
